I agree for sure. It is a matter of attitude and so it is an attitude that you also take with you into a training situation & thats what I mean by consitency.
I personally dont do the rope twirling thing if a horses comes into my space. Like Miriam, I leave if they come into my space, forgetting Im a feeble human. In otherwords if Barney the Brave
wants his tail scratched and backs up hard I will not get annoyed because it is not aggression, but I will just move away and not scratch him and then show him what he can do to get a scratch. However, when he double barreled me I did walk behind him stamping my foot until he left the ring (he can go out under the fence) which is what started all my questions off!! My reaction must depend on their intention and that is where it is so important to understand "where they are coming from". I hope Im learning everyday.
We just seem to have weird weather here in the Uk, Donald. So I wont send you any of that!
