Very interesting thoughts everyone. I shall think some more and maybe it will become crystal clear and I can let everyone know what makes most sense! :yes:

Another great behavior to train using positive reinforcement is SELF HALTERING, especially to decrease avoidance, by raising or tossing their heads, and also to prevent that from happening in the first place!! And as a side effect it classically conditions them to LOVE their halters!!!

I taught this to Lucy as she was quite good at avoiding when she came! And Yvonne has been writing about teaching this to Skye with success also! What a joy to just hold out the halter and have them lower their heads into it!!

hi there, i promose, i am really working on it :D . i had to have a few days not playing with them because of deluguing rain, (can you believe it, 40+ deg c days, bush fires, now floods!!!!!! man i love this country!!!! ;) ) anyway, i have not been able to do much, so when i finaly went out there to do something with them AND ACTUALLY HAD A CAMERA AND SOMEONE TO USE IT :cheers: , guess what, they were just so excited to see me, that they mugged me instead! so i went in and did individual games. it is ok, because i had to re establish it, so i have videod that. but i HATE youtube!!! :evil: i cant get them to down load!!!

anyway, i will get a video of it pretty soon hopefully! it really is beautiful. but you need to be an octapus to hand out treats in three directions :D :D :D
