I use a rope as a cordeo at the moment, and I am happy when I play with it on the ground, but when I ride, it seems to be too short, Beau has a heavy neck, and if he lowers his neck I have difficulties following his movement. Can someone tell me how long it should be? Maybe give some measurements I can base myself on?

Can you post a side view of Beau just standing, with the cordeo on? Then maybe we can see. But really, you can probably just guess how much longer you would want it. That's what I did with Tamarack. His first one was too short, so I made a bit longer one.

I see now too that it is to tight, the second picture was after I released him going backwards, but it seems still stuck. I will make it longer anyway, so it's more comfortable riding. And figure it out from there

I would make him a bit longer too. In these two pictures it looks like it's a bit too tight and therefore also doesn't give a release when you let go of the cordeo. Just experiment with what feels best I'd say. :)
