Barefoot Cherokee - can anyone share their experience?

I have one and I absolutely love it, but as I don't ride more than about twice or three times a year I hardly ever use it. But especially for Titum with his complicated back it's the best saddle I ever had - the first one where his movement was as loose and flowing as without a saddle. What exactly do you want to know about the Barefoot Cherokee?

I have to say that I bought Lexingotn saddle, and I didnt like it. The size 1 which should fit me well, was way too big, especially leg flaps were too long. I felt I'm very far from the horse's back, and I felt that it holds the rider very orthopedicly. Defenitely not a saddle for those who like to be close to the horse and like some freedom in the saddle!

Now I'm riding in tree close contact saddle and its very nice - I feel much closer to the horse, and she respond thousand times better. Its not that soft like barefoot saddles, but it's not a disadvantage for me.

Well...I've heard that people have had problems with the position of stirrup bars and also that barefoot saddles (cheyenne particular...but also london...don't know about cherokee) keep them too far from the horse as too little contact and therefor can't really use legs or smth.
So...I'm wondering.
