As much as I dislike winter, I am always delighted at the many beautiful forms of frost. And the little lights and the ghost horses in the snowy night...all beautiful!!!!

Thank you both!

Ralph and I can't wait to move to the Ardennes.. it is already beautiful where we live now... but winters over there!

I love winter when there is snow and ice and sun...
but... storm, rain, grey skies... argh.

some pampered carnivors here:

Gina does a nice spanish walk and a levada...
I'll ask Ralp to film it sunday, if you'd like to see :)

Very good question Tanja... as we do not know where we shall be going we can not really answer it.

I think we shall be taking TAONARA with us and maybe see if there are standard locations where the courses can be planned throughout Belgium and Holland and maybe even Germany.

Sort of like now with the Natural Academic Riding Art clinic which I have been giving every where but home.

why, are you worrying I shall go to far off? ;)

Yes, that is absolutely my concern, I am really serious about it. Many of the courses look so interesting!!

Where you live now, it is already very far for me, and I am worried that it will only get further.

Ow ow ow and if TAONARA gets so famous and completely full booked please call me, I can help you   :green:

From time to time we get a little snow. Here you see past years, then finally, a photo of Bonnie and Altea this year, and in fact on the Solstice day. Barely enough light to get a video.

Two years ago this is what our home and grounds looked like:
Image

And then there has to be someone clearing it all away so people can come and go for festivities and celebrations:
Image

Too bad these two can't have the run of the place. A little scattered hay and they'd walk all the snow down with their nice big hooves, as they have to get to their hay out in the paddock - Bonnie is just 22 months old in the picture:
Image

Two years ago the snow packed down to 5 feet (1.524M). I'd guess that probably 6-8 ft (1.8288M - 2.4384M )actually fell.

Donald, Altea, and Bonnie Cupcake (who is no longer so little)
