I should bring Beau over to you... so Geronimo can teach him that water is fun... Beau thinks rain and running water will cause him to melt! but Geronimo just plays with it... how great oh and I think it is time for dinner |

Ha, Anat, it's so funny to see your pictures of your lush, green landscape . Just today I was wading through 20cm of freshly fallen snow |

well, you know for us its the only time of the year that it is looking so GREEN within less then 3 months it will all get yellow - brown - bare stonily dotted land... the good thing is it is a big motivator for Geronimo to make the effort and take me out. hopefully it wont be an effort at some point soon for him and then we would plow throw more of this green (and get wet & muddy and breathless too). Quote: just today I was wading through 20cm of freshly fallen snow WHAOOO, i can only imaging the tall havy boots you might need to do that and stay dry.... today the storm is here. ton of rain non stop heavy wind and cold brrrr.... (probably 7 - 6 degrees celsius). it was also one of the first ever really cold+wet+windy winter days that i left my horses without their rain sheets. this year we got more tarp to cover some of the open parts of the stalls/shade so it is more protected and mostly dry inside if they choose to be in - so now i can feel i can let them do their thing and not burden them with our human made coats. i guess it is much colder over at your winter - i was thinking about it when i was out - it is probably quite hard with all the daily routines - how do you do that? - clean hooves or any other fine motor that require you to move your fingers? brrrr... do you have special gloves? anyway - hugs from all of us... |

Geronimo got his new boots and we went out to try them on a rainy & muddy day. we both got completely wet but the boots stayed on. |

Waaaaah, that (7th) picture of Geronici looking like a reptile... Can't wait to show it to Nora and Nelly tomorrow, they will definitely squeal when they see it. Remember how you were worried when Pipo was new and they did not like each other? And now they all look like such a lovely herd. |
