Oh yes, absolutely! Els wants me to come for that clinic in the beginning of 2009 and then I will visit you for sure. This year I can´t take holidays anymore.

Thanx Leigh :)

I'll pay it forward to the Don, who just took a stroll around the courtyard with Ralph and me and now joined Owen in the arena for a late night snack, as Ino is now in his new nursery 8)

It really is picture time with this weather!

So nice to see your boys and Gina again. They are still beautiful!

And sorry for not posting much anymore. I read very much on this forum, I am present, but I just don't have any real interesting things to share anymore when it comes to horses... Just wanted to let you, Josepha and all the others, know that I am still here.

@ Karen, thank you :)
Well, we used to have the most wonderful climate, crisp winters with thick packs of snow, energising springs, long hot summers but not to dry and cosy autumns with sun, rain and storm...

The last 10 years the weather has changed... rainy and stormy winters, no frost no snow, no spring at all, just more autumn without sun and wet rainy summers with more storm and then 2 weeks of idiotic heat...

So, with this 'normal' winter we are totally surprised!

@ Els, as you could see in an other topic, we did not forget you :)
And thank you :)

Josepha, our weather here has only changed a little...but it has last that feeling that predictability that you mention...with distinct and lovely seasons. We pray here for good snow in the winter, because that gives our farmers the moisture needed for crops in the spring. We had one winter with virtually no snow several years ago, and the ensuing summer was hot and dry as well.

This winter is quite ordinary although temps are averaging a little below normal. At least he have some snow.

Autumn is my very favorite time of year and now that season seems too short. I don't know if it's really true, or if it's just my age - that everything seems to go by a little too fast?

But spring now, seems to creep in too slowly and becomes summer so quickly that it barely registers. It just all feels odd and not quite right.

But I'm glad you got some snow. Your fuzzy teddy bears need that backdrop to look like they had good reason to grow such wooley coats!

I just LOVE Ino!!!! He is soooo pretty

And the winters are much worse in norway also the last 10-20 years.... Many places without snow, and about as you described Josepha....

We are lucky, lives a little up in the mountains - so we usually have good winters still......
