Welcome, Gwenda! :)

How cool is that - I was just thinking about you this morning and now you are here (or active, actually). Frodur is such an incredibly cute and beautiful person, I am looking forward to reading much more about him. I hope you will enjoy the forum, but I can imagine you will.

Best wishes,
Romy

Welcome Gwenda! :f:

What a lovely boy! Dülmener/Halflinger - that's a nice combination actually :thumleft:
I'm looking forward to your story so far and all your future adventures :)

Thank you very much for your nice words! :)

In fact, I am already registered and browsing through the forum since several weeks - and today, I noticed that I never introduced ourselves, shame on me :)
I really like this forum and I'm so glad that I found it. (Actually, I didn't find it on my own, but a nice friend gave me a hint.)
I have the feeling that you have just the same ideas and feelings regarding the contact and being with horses like I do - and that I can find lots of interesting stories from you and your horses, and learn a lot from all of you :)

Unfortunately, I won't be able to create a diary for Frodur right now - I really have to improve my english first :D

From what I can see that's definitely not necessary, but as you like :f:

Yes, I remeber your reply to my post about people who don't ride anymore. I really liked it, because you described exactly what I am trying to do with my horse friend as well - we only "work" on his initiative, and I always try to see what he might like to do and am exited about all of his great ideas :)

But "work" is not the correct word, though, because at the moment, we mainly play games together or visit the pasture so he can graze. I think he might also like to go for a walk and explore the neighborhood when he really feels at home in the new stable. (We moved at the beginning of January.) But at the moment, he doesn't like to be far away from the herd, so we stay near the stable :)

Yeah that sounds like you are absolutely right in here.... I loved your question in the rw forum.
from my experience the english comes soon faster into your mind and hands. I would love to read more of you two and more than anything about your horses ideas...

I just noticed that you have a diary over here :) I will bookmark it right now and will start to read it as soon as possible :)
So far, I can only "offer" a diary on FB (a secret group) and a little blog which is linked on my profile...maybe I'll start a diary here as well, but right now I prefer to read as much as possible from all of you :) I love to learn from all of you and your experiences, they are so inspiring!
