Our eldest dog Xinshu, (12yr on May 30th) also had a hernia for several years.
Our vet is classic trained but also homeopath and kinesiologist, so she can test which product works best for him.
I remember he got a product twice now that she injected 1/2 of the ampoule and he had to get the rest in his mouth a few weeks later, but I just cannot remember the product
I will have to ask her next time I go (in about 10 days from now).
It is the only injection that he does not cry about... he is extremely sensitive and usually screams hard enough for the whole neighbourhood when he gets another shot. But this one is something very 'clean' and does not hurt at all.
But recently we started to give our dogs and cat raw meaty bones. This was after Josepha started a topic on it and I wanted to give it a chance.
I must say that since than his hair got much more soft, but more important: he is becoming less sensitive and he looks much younger too! I have not heard him complain about his back anymore!
Must say that he gets lots of bones and eats raw chicken meat with the bones or raw fish almost everyday.
Maybe you should read the topic and give it a try also?
I will let you know about the product later.
Success!
