Your digital paintings are very nice. The fjord-pony of the real photo and the unreal at the digital look like the same, just the colour is different. How did you do that?
The second picture is very nice too. The much different lines... I can never draw so like you at the computer.

Thank you for the comment Nora.

I used the reference to draw a "skeleton" of circles and lines so I can have more accurate proportions (I have trouble with proportions) then looking at the picture I build around it.

I guess I should have named this post differently as my tablet has given up and I am unable to draw digitally now...

Any way here is a traditional drawing of one of my HARPG characters. Her name is Marike.

Oh wow! I always admire it so much when someone can draw just lines and keep it simple to get a lively, expressive picture. Really wonderful!

If you ever feel like it, could you try to draw this one or somethng similar in that line style? I am asking because I have tried it a while ago but found that I absolutely cannot draw like that - I can't single out the important lines and leave away the rest, and also my lines tend to be too solid and I don't have a good feeling yet for where to end them. In that way, it does not look expressive but I get something that looks more like spaghetti and the beautiful simplicity and expressivity is gone. So I thought that perhaps when seeing a finished picture, I might get some clues on how to do it better.

What a beautiful capture, there's a lot going on between those two but I will most definitely try it Romy. I've not ever attempted drawing horses at such angles.

And thank you Barbara, but if you want to see some awe worthy art you should check out these people's galleries.
