Not sure where to post this announcement. For members in the North West United States. I may have found a clinician that seems to follow the philosophies put forth on this forum.
She is Mary Beth Meyers from Sonomish Washington. I found her after attending a Feldenkris clinic in October. She describes her work as "Equine Integral Movement". When she finally has her website up I shall post it under resources.
If you know of her work, or want more information about two clinics that I will attend this year, please feel free to contact me.

I used to ride with Mary Beth years ago. At the time, she was working with a horse at 3rd level and had ridden 1 horse at GP several years before that.

She dropped out of the dressage scene in the PNW years ago and hasn't shown for years.

Maybe there is more than one Ms Meyers, at the clinic I attended in May, she spoke briefly of a show that she had attended this year. I'm looking forward to her website, and I will post it as soon as it's on line. Thank you everyone for your interest.

Yes, yes, yes! Tell us more! I've just started with T-Touch, which is based on some of Feldenkrais' work!

I would like to hear more too. I googled and found this, but it's still under construction.

http://www.harmonicriding.com/

Now, I'm about to tell a joke  so please don't anyone take this the wrong way, or assume that I am talking about May Beth Meyers or anyone else. It's just a joke.

So I'm on the phone with a horsey friend of mine (used to own a tack shop), and I asked her if she'd heard of Mary Beth Meyers because when she phoned, I just happened to be in the middle of googling the name. The Harmonic Riding site came up so I mentioned it.

My friend has not heard of Mary Beth Meyers...so the comment she made wasn't about MBM...but she said, "A lot of clinicians talk about harmony in riding..."

Then she added, "...most of them have really big arm muscles."

I almost died laughing!

For anyone in the PNW here is a clinic / camp scheduled for Sept. I don't know if I can find the $$ between now and then, doubfull.
Geraldine

Hello to all you MaryBeth Groupies,
This is a second preliminary email to see if anyone is interested in a 4 day camp.
Here are the particulars:
The cost of the camp is $588. The cost of the house is $260 per person. (This is for 6 nights, Tue-Sun)
Would you prefer the dates of Sept 10-14, Sept 17-21?
The plan is to work our little buns off, take a day off and work some more. Some of us felt it would be nice to have a break and either trail ride or shop in Sisters or just relax.
I only had one response for the dates of Sept 17-21.
Please let me know ASAP as I would need to reserve the house.
I have attached the form, It has the Sept 17-21st dates, but I will confirm the dates when I hear from you. So don't send me any money yet, just confirm that you want to come and what dates.
See you soon
