New Rule on Petitions

To maintain this forum as positive, clean, fresh and forward going as it is now, we have chosen to change to rules some what according petitions.
We clearly state that AND is not against any training method, as we purely concentrate on what our horses and we want and work on and how we do it.
Now, when (founder) members post petitions against certain methods etc. this could evoked parties who are behind certain methods to start debating this on the AND forum or misunderstanding the AND philosophy and community.
Within AND we do not want to spend energy on our differences and different goals in life. We want to spend energy on our own individual development.

On the other side we as AND (founder) members can not proclaim we are not against illegal animal cruelty or things such as bullfights or baby seal clubbing as we clearly state we view horses as intellectual beings, that thus certainly goes for all animals (including humans). Next to that, we do not want to limit the freedom of our members in expressing their ways or trying to help a noble cause.

Therefore we have chosen to the following rule:

All petitions may be entered but from now on only in every individual member’s own diary(s).
This is to ensure that everyone understands that a petition placed does not represent AND in general, but just each individual who posted the petition.
Every one is of course totally free to whether or not one signs a petition, there is never any debate needed on that on this forum.

Thank you all for your kind understanding,

The AND team
