The Art of Natural Dressage

Still not the summary video of the holiday camp, but I just couldn't wait to post this - my little crocodile hero cycling for the first time.

He was so amazing, just trotting with me like a pro. Perhaps I will have some time to write in his diary this evening.

Yesterday we went for an adventure walk to the "Dynamitfabrik" in the Karswald, which is an area in the forest that used to be a dynamite factory in the past and now has been turned into an adventure playground for horses. There are a few wooden jumps and lots of ditches, hills, narrow paths and other difficult natural obstacles. We did not film the entire time because most of all we wanted to run around and play, but here is a video that gives you an idea of what it looks like (although the hills do not look nearly as steep as they really are ): Pia and Baca playing in the dynamite factory.

Oh yes, that looks so excellent! I so much envy you for that adventure wonderland to roam in freely. In our area we always have to fear that some new "riding prohibited" sign is being put up by some land owner :(. Luckily, we still have one forest we can go to...

Your walk looks like so much fun for ponies and humans alike. No wonder that poor Baca is all tired when he gets home after that amount of running and climbing and exploring .
Romy, you are so lucky to have wonderful Nora at your side - the way she handles Pia is just lovely to watch! Have at least as much fun again on your coming adventures .

it's great how relaxed the horses are in the city, and that you walk without a halter on or something like this - even there is a mainroad just great

I am glad that some of the grass eating scenes are in the video, but next time I want to make a video in which you can see how it can be difficult, what you are doing to change it and how this works. For this I'd love to film both you and Nora with both horses (taking turns), so that we can really see the differences between the two boys and between you and Nora. For me this is so interesting to watch. You are both so great!

And of course we will go for walks like this again. Many of them. After all, we need to keep you fit, don't we?
