We spent almost a week in an apartment near the farm over the Easter holidays. It was windy and sometimes quite cold, but a whole week just with the horses was pure bliss! :sun: :sun: :sun:

We didn't take much pictures, but here's some impressions:
Our friend's kids were there, so we finger-painted the horses ;)

We spent a lot of time in the pasture, doing nothing...

And here's a funny sequence of Anna doing the rain dance with Lily (or training for piaffe, I don't know :funny: )Image Image Image Image
Anyway, we had a good time together! :bounce: :bounce:

What a nice idea, to make holidays next to the horses...
It looks so idyllic.
I especially love the raindance... :D

Now, inspired by Dani's nice portrait picture of Zermi she just posted, I remembered some pictures I wanted to post a while ago. I have some of Mucki, which show his present, almost completely white state. The others show Lily in her beautifully dark autumn chestnut coat and playing with Anna just before sunset.

Sorry about that! Had to figure out how to get my pictures from Google Drive to show up here. But now, everything should be in order. Hopefully? At least I can see them ;)

i see them...
all the way form here...

your white moon horse

it keep amaze me how Mucki is so expressive looking and can seem so different in different pictures.
i love his alert portrait and it so different to the picture with you where he looks like a welsh pony
(i know it is due to the angle of the shoot and the fact that you are indeed a giant ;)... )
& illy is looking sweet in the sun set with her kissable pink lips

 Hmm. That's strange, because I tried from several different computers now and they showed up every time. Maybe you need the reload the page several times - if you have opened the page before I fixed the images, then there may be an old version cached locally at your computer. If it still doesn't work, tell me please, then I load them up to some other hosting service...

Yes, he has many faces. And they reflect his sometimes very contradicting emotional states. He can be so spooky and anxious, then again so strong and powerful. And seconds later he can stand with his head low, his lower lip dangling - just utterly and deeply relaxed. While the latter trait is quite nice, I sometimes have a hard time keeping up with his changing states in order to react properly.

Oh and regarding Mucki's size: he's actually not a very tall horse. Something like 156cm (~15.6hh). But on that picture he looks smaller, because of the angle of course.

Wow, now I can see them...
Strange, I don t know why yet, but I have an assumption... 8)
It might be, because I have to keep changing the date of my computer at work.
Now that I am on the right date, I can see them.
I have no problem with all the other pictures, though.
Mucki is such an expressive guy. Wonderful.
And Lilly is so girlish and sweet...
Love the pictures...

I can see the photos now, and the profiles of Mucki are so beautifull! The pasture you are on also has a very nice view, I can imagine how much fun you have there.

Great that you can see the images now - I hope Ali can see them as well now?

Mucki is about 156cm - I'm 192cm. I like Mucki's size. Everything taller is too tall for me :).

Oh I shall never tell him that. I mean, Lily is a Welsh pony and I'm sure Mucki will do everything to stand apart from Lily :D. Besides, when you are near Mucki when he is energetic, you'll be convinced he is a big horse ;). I think he's 10cm taller when he collects himself...
