Very nice! :applause: :applause: :applause:

Such a big difference - so calm and coordinated now. Fantastic!
Did she lift her right foreleg by herself, or did you cue her for it?

Do you really mean the right one which she had been lifting all the time during the school halt training already? Or the left one which is new now? But in any case, I didn't cue it. The left one I rewarded specifically in the beginning, but not the lifting itself but taking any weight off it, so I even rewarded more when she did NOT lift it (which always resulted in a hop) but just slid back on it. I'll explain it in more detail in the exercise diary of the school halt, because although it's not really a school halt anymore now, it's the direct continuation of our work on it.

Yes, I meant the right leg. Because I cued Mucki to lift it in order to explain the School Halt to him and I was just wondering, if I created an artificial movement. But it looks very much like Pia does it, so it seems to be an intuitive move after all.

All my horses do it, so I guess it's a very intuitive move indeed. Today I got another exercise that you wanted to see on video: Pia turning while sitting

Absolutely brilliant! :applause: especially those little hops she does :funny: I call it 'the sitting canter'.
Is she doing that also on the grass? How funny!

Funny that you say this, because when watching the video, I thought she looked a bit like a seal or walrus during the sit turns. But we could take some of both and agree on a sea lion.

Actually we do have the sitting balancer in preparation, where she hops from one frontleg to the other while she is sitting. But that only works sometimes, and mostly she simply jumps with both frontlegs at the same time. Oh, and yes, she also does the sit turns on grass, but of course it's easier in the snow.

Also this could be suits fine. :funny: I find that her mane gives her the lion-look, thereby she seems so proud and venturously. 8)

Glad that you liked our video, Lena. You will see, in no time this will be ever so normal for you, because you will have that with your own horse as well. :)

Today our training wasn't that serious. Nora picked me up from home and because I neither wanted to let her wait nor leave my coffee behind, I simply brought it down to the pasture. Pia showed us that coffee is interesting for little pony girls as well, so we made a coffee video. ;)

Yesterday Nelly asked me if I have seen the coffee video with Pia. She saw the video together with Nora and founds that also so cute and funny!

Pia - the coffein junkie... Ha, ha... :funny:

Just a little update on Titum's levade. The last one is about as good as it gets right now, but I just LOVE the thing he does at around 0:30, where he does not lift the second frontleg but just bends it, which only is possible when his weight is on the hindquarters. I am very much in love with my strong and smart superhero horse.
