What do you all think of Owen's idea about the stretch and then taking it up into backing in ramener?

Another great example that horses are not lazy at all, like some people still think. They are clever to know what´s good for them and then they work out to get better .

Hi Colinde,

I'm not familiar with Anja or Phillip's work but I know and love to watch Bent Branderup videos. :D Does he have any DVD or book in English? I seem to remember that was a problem previously when I found his works.

Indeed, Bent work is only in German, because of that darn publisher of his.

But I shall hopefully very soon have a video of you about bend in the travers if O keeps up like that :)

Wow, Romy! so wonderful of you to do this for me! It was also so nice to overview this topic!!!

So you want me to edit the newer ones in as well? Until now I have only done it with about a year's delay because I wasn't sure if you wanted to have the newer videos as single threads.

Edit: Okay, now they are all in one topic. Sorry, I am a bit impatient today, perhaps because I am so happy the forum is back. :)

Here is some other work of Owen, socializing horses that have problems with Equine Language and culture.

It consists of 4 videos of Owen working with Joya (a mare that has been in training with me for 5 weeks)

Thank you Romy! And I've added some more.

When you see the videos of last November, I think we can all agree O has never looked better, right? Look at his lean muscles that just keep building! And we did not do any work at all since late November!

O working on Ramener:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2uqUJqx ... ature=plcp

Normally as the frost would lift O would collaps into breathing problems again... but he did not... not on cough whatsoever... Which is strange as everybody advices to keep horses with resporatory problems outside 24/7 and he is just far better, better than years after I decided to follow my gut and stable him at night again...
I wrote an article on that as well for who is interested in my stable management:
