Hi there!

I'm glad I found this place, it looks like it could really help me with my mare and I.

My name is Kristyn.

I am 23, and have grown up around horses. Being around them my entire life, I have always felt like they have been my best friends. Currently, I work as a part time Instructor for kids and adults on our farm, mainly teaching trail, basics, and beginner Hunter/Jumper.

11 years ago, I recieved the greatest gift. A newborn Appaloosa mare - and she's been a fond pain in the butt ever since. :) This is the reason I've joined the forum.

I've recently started working with her differently. Everything before worked, a mix of natural horsemanship and just what I've learned from growing up around horses. Never tried Parelli, though John Lyons was a BIG thing when I was younger.

Problem - I feel like Eclipse and I don't have a very... deep connection. So... hopefully I can find what I'm looking for here!

Sorry for the long introduction, I tend to get carried away when my thoughts get running. :)

Welcome! I too, came from a Natural Horsemanship background and then started mixing things up a bit. AND is really a wonderful transition from that. I hope you like it here!

Do you have any pictures of Eclipse? I'm sure everyone would love to see them. :)

Welcome, Kristyn! :)

I also hope that you will enjoy the forum, but I think if you are longing for a deep connection with your horse, you might find some inspiration here. Looking forward to reading more about Eclipse!

Warm Regards,
Romy

Welcome here!

I used to use NH as well, but my mare didn't care for it.

I know what you mean about the 'connection' you desire with your horse.
