Hmm where to start? I found this forum by accident and am so glad I did. Someone asked me how they could make a homemade cordeo and I found this forum and pointed them here for ideas. Well I then just started looking around and all I could think of was wow, I've been wanting to do something like this with my new filly. Raise her with as little as pressure as possible etc, basically raise her right, and this feels right to me.

I was surprised to find out I was already playing some of the games you have here with my four month old quarter horse filly Araya (my name is Jen) like mimicing her, and in a sense just playing with her. I'll need all the help I can get in her training, she is so smart and willing I'm sure she'll catch on fast.

Hi Jen, and Araya,

My Araya looks to be pretty. Wish we could see more of her.

Happy you have found us. I too have a new girl in the family, 18 month old Andalusian, Bonalaria that I am raising with companionship, friendship, play, and nurturing of her spirit and mind.

If you haven't looked at the various forums yet you might want to. It gives even more information about what AND is about, and the people that gather here and share their and their horses' stories.

Welcome Jen!
I'm new in this forum, too - but I already found out that it's as nice as I thought it would be and even better  Really a place to feel comfortable here.
I don't write very much in the forum yet, because I'm just a beginner with all these things and have got the feeling there's not very much I could add. But I read a lot. If you start a diary, I'd love to read more about you and your beutiful filly.

If you hadn't said she was a QH this picture would have made me think it anyway.

She's gorgeous - take if from another gorgeous horse owner.

Oh, wait. Now which of us is gorgeous, my filly Bonnie or me?

LOL
