So, here is another lurker who finally decided to register. I will mostly read but thought that maybe it's time to say something as well. We'll see.

I currently work with two horses, both belong to my father.
Both they and I have long and not always happy histories but I'm very glad my father bought them so that we can give them better lives. I wont go into details here though, and it might bore you =)

Anyways. Even though I have been studying horses and dressage(natural) and worked in the NH area (Didn't really like it) for a long time I still consider myself a newbie. Mainly because I don't have as much practical experience (The horses have moved around a lot and I stayed put) as I wish I had. I hope that will change somewhat now though, they have settled down and I visit very frequently. That's why I chose to register now.

/San

Hello and welcome. What beautiful horses - is the white one Spanish?

Bore us? About horses? Not likely ... :funny: We like to hear the stories ;)

Welcome, San!! :)

:ieks: Wow, your horses look like from a picture postcard - incredibly beautiful!

I hope you will enjoy the forum and don´t worry about being boring for us... I would be interested in reading more about you and your lovely horses and I am sure many others would like to hear more, too.

Warm Regards,
Romy

Hi San,

Glad to see you here and I'm looking forward to more pics of your two beauties. I have the same question as Glen, is the white a horse with Spanish blood? What are both their breeds?

Thanks everyone!
One feels very welcome here
They are both Lusitanos so you are perfectly right about the Spanish part (or Portuguese). I can put more picture up but Maybe I should find some horse introduction thread for that and to tell you more about them. :D

Thank you very much everyone

Ah, two more Iberian horses. I have two myself, one the daughter of the other, and each, along with Andalusian, a little touch of Arabian. The daughter shows it most, while the mother carries a more Spanish head and face.

What lovely horses to have in your life. You and they are so lucky to have each other.

Yours are gorgeous by the way. Can you tell us a bit more, such as sex, age, things they do on their own and when you ask them? We are horribly nosy, aren't we though?

And yes, please more pictures. Never heard anyone here complain about more pictures of horses.

Welcome to the club San!

And I join the others: your horses are real beauties!
And believe it, you do not bore us when you tell your horses (and your own) story, even if it has not always been rosy

The main thing is that we learn from each other that horses and people can change in their life, change for the worse... or for the better.
To me it seems that your horses certainly have taken the last option, they look magnificent!

Please start telling us, and if possible: add more pictures

Welcome! You can post photos here or in the pictures section. Which ever you prefer. And we're NEVER bored with stories. We love stories!
