Exactly! That is why I loved Freckles sooo much from second one :)

No, not a good idea at all...
A wonder Mike never attacked our cats, but killed every stray one :(
I guess he understood those cats to be mine and he never ever wanted to hurt me.
I miss him...
I am going to give hussy and stormy some extra love when I return..how is Cally by the way?

Thanx all! Again an old treath I did not respond to

Thank you Karen, I completely agree, I aim for horisontal balance in my horses which for me means that you could photoshop me away and think there was no one on there.
I believe, all though I can not scientifically prove it of course, that from that point horses will come to least harm of we do lots AND groundwork and right only 15 to 20 minutes and not every day.

I myself, If O does no want to ride, I don't at all. He knows best :)
But 9 out of 10 times, he seems to enjoy it for 10 to 20 minutes. He tells me when he is done.
Last time I rode testing my saddle, he would not let me come off and walked to the gate, he wanted to go out and hike :funny:

Ralph and I worked really hard to refurnish the Kinsky lofts. They have now now carpet and a four poster bed each. They also have a hay bar which I only have to fill twice a day for constant buffet...Here are some pics...

What a wonderfully comfortable horse palace you and Ralph have created.

My country is so rough here I'll be lucky to do half as well, but you ARE an inspiration to me.

I'm going to go put my raincoat and rainpants on this afternoon and get out there with my chainsaw and brush cutter and start opening up the space for the paddock paradise.

Those two kinskies look all too satisfied with themselves. Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled.

:funny: :funny: :funny:

Very posh lofts. Very fancy indeed. :thumleft:
Can I ask you what you've used on the surface? Are that some kind of wood chippings?
As we're still house hunting, I'm already designing my horses house. I'm not very keen on a normal sandy paddok, but this looks absolutely great

Warm regards

Gea

All the hard work was worth the effort. Kinskies are lovely, but my favourite pictures in the batch were Gina being comfy and the wonderful Don with Josepha. xx

@ Barbara, I think Owen will be ya regular Tom Cruise… I guess that would make Ino Rainman… which we actually call him sometimes when he does a 100 backups just because I am outside…

@ Romy, Maybe Ralph and I should start a new business; paddock interior decorator. Extreme paddock make over, pimp your paddock…

@ Why thank you Don :) spoil… well we do try, but they seem very content, don’t they ha ha ! Flat area galore here in Flandria… somewhat a tad to much some times.

@ Thanks Gea. It’s heavy duty ground cloth filled with root wood chips.

@ Thanks Susie, Gina loves the paddocks just as much but likes it less when Ino keeps stalking her. Then she goes to Owen to complain about it and then Owen chases Ino off.

@ Thanks Inge, just trying out some ideas and at the same time making our house and ground perfect to sell. 2000m2 without so much as an inch of mud… who doesn’t want that for his horses?

Hi Inge :)

I just take it out with the dung boy Image

Of course some woodchips come with the dung but that makes excellent compost together with EM and we just add new woodchips all the time :)
