It was a pretty wild and windy day today and the horses were very playful so we got out the camera. Poppy had great fun bucking and rearing and leaping around. :D  :D :applause: It was lots of fun :).

   That is so great, Marina! Oh, I still remember your first pictures and videos when Poppy didn´t want to play wild with you yet. BJ was playing funny wild games with Zoe and Poppy only did calm and focused exercises - and now watch her jumping around! You must have done something very right in the last year. BRAVO!! :)

And I am still a bit in love with Marlee.

My, what an energy... from all of you... all the jumping and running. one day I'll be in that topcondition as well :funny:

There lovely, everytime I see some video of a wild game I question myself, why does it look so good from here, and when Ruphina starts doing stuff like that I feel scared?

But mostly, it gives the idea of 'you see Kirsten, other horses react the same and don't kill the human, it might be a normal reaction; so maybe... fina won't kill me as well  " so thank you, all the wildstuff video really helps me facing my fears by looking so wonderful and good!

Thank you Romy :) - she only gets that enthusiastic every now and then but I love it so much and is so worth being patient and just hanging out and doing the simple stuff in between. I love seeing them so full of themselves :)
And Marlee is very slowly getting the idea - she will kind of follow us around (a little half heartedly) and is starting to understand that eating carrots does not involve diving with her mouth open.

And Kirsten I'm in such bad shape too (comes from sitting around in lectures all day) - I ran around way too much and I now my lungs ache :P

Here is another video of us, this time mostly BJ playing :) Most of it was filmed from the fence post so the horses are moving in and out of shot. And I had to put some really cute music to it. :D

That's so cute! After Zoe posted the video of the dog doing that I wanted to try this with my horse too, but then I completely forgot about it... so thanks for reminding me! :)

Always so nice to see your videos, you seem to be having so much fun with your horses! :)

Here's BJ's latest videos (I have forgoten to put them up here for awhile now  )

This video is now really old of him with the "scary lundge whip". The parts with green grass are about 9 months old :funny: But the rest is kinda recent. If you have read my diary you'll understand how amazing this is for him, BJ never used to come anywhere near me if I was just holding a whip :D

I have been teaching BJ to do more bouncy steps of trot leading to doing a passage or piaffe and just recently (before he went lame  ) he has been getting it :D Though he only can do one step at a time at the moment and when he's not doing it he's doing everything else he could possibly do at once!!!! (which is really cute to see ^^) We where very lucky to get a little video of it and though its pretty bad here it is At the end there are some even more dodgy clips of BJ jumping where he's a bit awkward, but has actually being going over them constistantly!! (and enjoying it!) Which is just so exciting!!! (I mean I was excited enough when he was just walking over poles ^^)

Here are the most recent videos of BJ :D

There is a local horse tv show in Australia and they have a segment where they put on peoples videos of their horses so we thought we would make one of BJ and see if he gets on.
So this one is of BJ doing all his tricks and games and his lovely little passage steps:

A video from just a few days ago of BJ's more developed passage!
