yes i will love to go there again, but not this year We go to Iceland...

My shetty do that (almost)always, but when he wears blinkers it is less. So then i have a better control Give me a more feeling of savety
when we are driving in the streets.
When we are in the woods i do not care about it. Then it is no problem.

coming a wee bit late to this... my stallion Geordie has recently been started in harness by my trainer - whom is strictly bitless, spurless, treeless and barefoot! (Well, her training is, not HER! ) ANYWAY, here is a couple of pics of him on his 1st trip outside the arena...


(The rope was bundled on his neck as I had just put it there to takes pics! I was leading him before that...)

P.S I would VASTLY prefer a saddlechariot, but the cost from the UK to Oz is prohibitive. I still plan to get one, ONE day!

Geordie is a Gypsy Cob (Tinker) imported from the UK in 2006.
Jinglejoys, I will add a couple of pics of the bridle so you can see it more clearly... my trainer makes them. (Actually this is his show bridle, the one he's wearing in harness is an old work one...but the design is identical, minus the bling!)

Adie (sorry -- I am finding myself almost incapable of remembering past people's ID's to their own names...ooops!) -- it didn't even occur to me that he might be a Cob -- I've never seen a chestnut like that in person.

He is magnificent!

And I'd love to go to one of the fairs, too, just to check out the whole scene...sigh...some day!

the red and whites are definitely less common! He's homozygous tobiano too, so ALL his foals are coloured !
Here's two of his babies...

Jinglejoys, the bb made by my trainer has the rein loops alot lower and kinda further back than a sidepull. She finds that it gives a clearer signal.

That's an interesting point to look into.I've tended to steer clear of side pulls because they remind me of headcollors and I know of too any equines that have no respect for them.Blue drives in a Spirit which was I believe the original Dr Cooks?

Simon, the only way I could see to get a direct link to the photo was to call up the page source...it's buried in there. The URL that you use for the photo must end in "jpg"...that means the URL is a direct link to the photo itself and not just a page the photo might be embedded on.



But this is obviously just a thumbnail. I didn't see another URL in the page source that led to a larger version of the image. Maybe search the help section of Picasa? There has to be a way to post the photos here.
