Yes, i have played a little with him, and stroke him a lot, but like you said it was not my horse... but a good experience for me, and some great advices from you in AND. But of course, I know that riding is just a little part of the relation, so it cannot be very nice when you don't know the horse. But I really want to be as better as I can, light, soft, to not disturb the horse at all.

There is a special quality in the riding when one rides with no expectations...I mean, it is not concentrated, purposeful work...it is more an extension of the togetherness we find when playing on the ground. I love it!

I mean...we want it to go well of course, but we demand less when we have no actual, physical control of the horse. We rely on them more to look after US. It is such a wonderful feeling.

Lol Inge!! It was a funny reaction. He did put in his mouth but still near to the ground (his head was like when he eats grass) and he kept the toy, and ate a lot to make more noise . I have a video of the first one with the noisy toy! If you want.

i was thinking to buy such a toy, to see what his reaction would be.
Just a new game. He like the catchball from the equi-spirit-toys. I play many times with him.
But this makes no sound. I heard that yourse was making noise, so i got interested in the reaction.
Thats why i never bought a "dog toy" and i think he breaks it in a few minits. He love to "eat" everything.
And the strange sound ofcourse.

I wanted to add what awesome condition Romantic is in. I don't know what you feed him but he looks fantastic. He has just the right amount of muscle tone and he looks so shiny. We are coming into the scraggy winter donkey look, whilst you are coming into hopefully a summer of shiny coats!
I got sidetracked by watching him move, but my first thought was how magnificent he looks in himself. He is growing into a very handsome adult horse.
