Someone asked me once if Natural Horsemanship would have developed the way it did if all they had to work with were the native ponies.
   Now there's an interesting thought! I have two Shetlands as well as our Welsh.... I really don't know who would break first, me or them. Whatever... I don't think it would be a very pretty outcome..

Cheers,
Sue

yeh, we have a welsh x TB....so am experiencing the stubbornness too! Perhaps we should try the lack of gear and reward for even doing things wrong...feel she may respond, as she was ridden really hard before we had her...and old...21....so could be set in her ways....

When you go to type a reply you will see a URL button top right.
Click on this and you will get "". The cursor will stay in the middle for you to paste in the address. Now open photobucket and double click on the photo you want to load. When the photo opens in full click on the photo whilst holding down the "control" key. You will get a sub menu and can then click on "copy this address". Then all you need to do is go back to your post and "paste" the address you have copied. I find it easier to have both windows open to switch between the two. It is really easy once you have done it a few times.
Good luck and looking forward to seeing your pics!
Best
Annette

Hi Natalie from another UK-er....... Guildford direction!

My first ever, ever pony was a Welshie. Gorgeous! All the grown upss fell off him cos he had this neat trick of cantering along and then stopping, unwarned, drop the head and itch his nose. I don't think I ever fell off him this way! He made me a very happy girlie.

I have 2 TB's now who I adore. But when I retire I am gonna have a hairy Welsh with a wicked sense of humour so my purple days can be more outrageous by the day! :D

Welshies certainly have a wicked sense of humour..... sometimes though I wonder when the humour bit will come in without the wicked bit! It seems a bit too much laughing AT me rather than WITH me at times, but life is never dull. :ieks: :D
