Hi,
I joined a couple of weeks ago but I decided I had better introduce myself now. I have lived in the US in South Carolina for my whole life. I have loved horses my whole life but I began taking riding lessons when I was six years old. When I was 12 I moved out to the country and I got a horse, His name is Cherokee. A short while after I got him I went to a clinic and the trainer there said that I should get rid of him because he was too much for me but I was stubborn and I stuck with it. I slowly got him to be calmer but he was still a bit stubborn at times. He did not like to come to me and he was very pushy. When riding him he would always go at a faster pace than I wanted him to. When I was 14 my friend invited me over to her house and she showed me her Parelli tapes. I was hooked after that. I am now somewhere between level 1 and level 2 but I never sent in my video. Cherokee was doing really good with the groundwork but not so good with the riding. My mom got a horse and we were able to go riding together but now Cherokee is very attached to her and gets agitated when they are apart. All I really want is a good relationship with my horse. I was looking on the internet when I found the NHE forum. I loved the video I saw on You tube but the forum seemed very strict. I sort of gave up on my search but then I kind of stumbled across this forum. I have read a lot of the posts and I think it is exactly what Cherokee and I need. I am really excited about trying these things with him.

are the photos on the internet somewhere? Or just on your computer?

If they are only on your computer, we can't see them. If they are on the internet you can just post the URL!

Welcome!!

OH, he is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Gorgeous!!!! What a pretty face!

In order for a picture to show up here, you need a URL that ends in "...jpg"

So that would be a direct link to the actual photo. The link above takes you to the photos, but is not the url for the photo alone...that's why it's not working here.

But the link works fine just to go and look...which I did...and got a big smile!!!
