We have been filming and have put together some short video's.
We are trying to get them online in a better quality and some scenes will be changed. But for now, here are the beta- versions.

When some one has similar sorts of clips from what type of exercises, playing or riding (in good quality), please send them! We are trying to make more clips like this and would like it when not only our AND horses are starring in them. Also pieces in these already produced clips can be changed by better ones :D

How cool!! Actually it makes it easier for me to understand (being totally thick where dressage is concerned) as I can see what is going on and how things should look!! Thank you!! :D :D

And there's more to come too... :D

I guess that first we'll do some more general movies like these (next will be one on the Spanish walk + trot, then one on playing with obstacles), and then when we get more material start doing movies on how to teach single exercises.

So do pm me if you have any video-material that you can share with us! :D

How wonderful -- those are excellent videos! What I like about them very much is that the clips of the exercises are shown several times, and often in slow motion. For me, at least, the first time I see something neat I just have to "take it in," and it takes many more watchings to really absorb it. Often on other videos that leaves me scrolling back again... and again... But in these I didn't have to!

:thumright:

Yes more, more more!

There is just one thing....... I have lots of questions now  Seeing you guys doing all that stuff, makes it more lively then when you were just telling about it!

I played with Donanta after seeing the clips and it made me very inspired. I think she liked it too!

Is there room for questions about the clips?

Of course! Maybe we can also put the clips in the different ground work stickys? And ask questions there?

Great idea, I'll see to that tomorrow!

I even saw that with YouTube you can select parts of movies and show only them in a link to the movie. So we could even highlight one single movement out of one of the videos and paste them in the sticky on that specific movement. At least, that's the theory. 8)

But also; do feel invited to comment on the movies on the YouTube site itself too! :D

I want to make one remark here which I find very important after watching the clips again. Evita rears in my direction in many clips (sometimes even in front of me) and this is not a thing you want! I saw in the movies this is my mistake because I take a step back so she follows in my direction, and tried not to do this after I saw this and then Evita stays in place next to me and didn't land on me :phew:, because she luckily is that far in concentration she is watching me closely... pffiieeuuww...
So be careful.. don't try that mistake I make at home ;)

oops sorry... I disabled comments on Youtube when uploading because I wanted to prevent the 'Are you thinking you are Monty Roberts?? ' remarks over there ;)

I fixed that with all the movies so that now everybody can comment, but that the comments will be checked before they're placed. :)

Good point about the rearing by the way! When we make a pesade-video, we'll add that to it. Isn't it great to have subtitles? 8)
