Hi all!

I would like to know who wants to visit Equihof Saturday August 16?

It is an hour away from Bianca's.

The address is:

Visesteenweg 17
3770 Riemst
Belgium

You are all welcome for visiting the shop, Owen, Inocencio and Don Jamie and have some cold drinks!

Don't expect me to brush the horses :P
They will probably be very filthy with dirt 8)

And for those who come to the AND summer meeting and like to attend John Grady's body awerness fitness clinic, that is the 17th.
It is also an hour away from Bianca's.

Here's the pampflet:

F.I.T. Rider Workshop: Equestrian Specific fitness for riders of all levels

Sunday, 17 August 2008, 12:00u – 15:30u

Join us at Eurofit Lanaken for a fitness workshop specific for riders!

Horseback riding is an athletic activity, and many riders spend on the average 2 to 3 hours a week on their horse, and even less on their own bodies!! Let’s explore the strengthening and stretching techniques needed for optimal riding.

Becoming a complete rider means being effective, balanced and strong. Regardless of your level, fitness will help your performance and your communication with your horse. It directly impacts your posture and ability to give effective aids in the saddle. The clinic will be given by top fitness coach John Grady.

These are just some of the skills that you'll learn at the workshop:

* Learn one of the most important exercises to develop core stability for achieving an

independent seat - and it takes just 30 seconds!

* Important exercises for improving coordination.

* How to develop functional flexibility and balance.

* Simple ways to develop strength you can use - train for go, not for show!

* The importance of warming up correctly and how to properly prep yourself to ride.

* Learn better body control for more effective and precise aids in the saddle.

John Grady (U.S.A.), is a certified fitness professional and owner of the *F.I.T. Clinic (*Functional Integrated Training), A personal training company that specializes in “mobile wellness”.
The F.I.T. Clinic works with many clients from various backgrounds, from amateur to professional athletes, to top business CEO’s, and of course, equestrians in the areas of fitness and health.

Riders of all levels, disciplines and fitness abilities are encouraged to attend. John will show you valuable exercises and stretching techniques that you can do in the privacy of your own home to help improve your riding.

If you want to get the most out of your riding performance and saddle time, then this is the workshop for you! Keep in mind that this is an active workshop and that “some” participation may be required.

I would love to visit Equihof, but that´s only possible if there is someone with a car at the summer meeting... I am waiting for Siggi´s reply to my email, otherwise I will have to decide it spontaneously when we are there and see if there is someone with a car who wants to go to Equihof too.

I won't make it to the meeting.
I'm somewhere between Portugal and my house at that moment and probably come home one or two days after the clinic. I really wanted to come and meet you all but I can't.

I hope the meeting is very nice and I hope you guys make a lot of pictures of the horses and of all the people. I wish you a great time (I'm sure you will have!).

Hope there is a meeting coming again some day to which I can come...

Hi :)

It's not a clinic, it's a meeting :)

And I am sure we will do a summer meeting next year again :)

Ah yes I meant a meeting.

A bit tired and stressed from packing since I am leaving tomorrow.

I really have to come to the clinic next year then. Or organize a winter meeting

Greetings to all from Siggi who is very busy at the moment and asked me to tell you that she probably won´t be able to come to or summer meeting because she will have to help her son moving to a new flat.

Can those who DO plan to come give us a sign again please, so that we approximately know how many people will be there?

Warm Regards,
Romy

I cannot bring Beau because I have no one to bring him there, I already have trouble to get him to my centered riding weekend...

But I would love to come. I'm not going to the rider workshop, have no money. I will not stay the night then either. I think I will come on saturday, if you guys are there then. I want to talk a lot :) if anyone knows what we'll be doing?
I already have a BBQ friday but maybe we can eat something great on saturday :) food is a very motivating incentive for me :D

Next year - definitely!

I have just looked at the logistics. Driving is 6 hours - not untenable. FLying is possible too. I have had my quota this year for leaping about on planes. But will put it in my diary for next year. I would really like to see you girls working with your horses - very much!!

Bum! Please DO NOT take it personally! There is nothing I would like more than to watch you guys doing your stuff. I am maxed at on all spending! Perhaps next year people will have more warning and preparation! Let's hope!
