Hi. I haven't been on this site in a loooong time, but a friend of mine sent a link to it again so I started reading a bit. I have this question. Since I started being on this site, I have got a new horse. When I try to invite her to play and run, she just stands, looks at me or walks a few steps with her ears down. It's like she won't "play" with me at all, I hope you understand what I mean. I'd love for her to loosen up and have some fun in the arena. Is it just to be patient or can I do something/help her to want to play/run? She really never does unless I have a whip with me. A picture of my darling Tinka . |

Hi Sassie, welcome! What a beauty your horse is! We have a sticky on Forwards movement and running that collects different ideas on how to inspire a horse to run and play, and another one that explains how you can initiate the Wild games. If you have any questions, just ask. |
