:ieks: Please don't hang on or pull her tail... this can do harm to her spine!

But really much fun to play in de snow like this  :D I was hoping it would melt over here but now I hope it stays long enough for me to be pulled by Evita :applause:

Oh I am only walking, and barely leaning, just so she knows I'm there???? Not skijorring?

Also, not to disagree, but I thought a lot of horses LIKE having their tails pulled or leaned on, and they even lean into it?? My chiropracter showed me how to do it??

Comments?

Brenda

Hi I agree our horse Chiropractor also told us to gently pull the tail out as an stretching exercise.

Hi, Dee,

Pull or lift?

I'm curious too what harm can come to the spine by the tail being pulled.

Here is a clip of me walking behind and holding Lucy's tail, practicing driving at liberty, clicker style of course! I am trying to teach her that when I let go of her tail (new cue) it means to stop "and Whoa' (old cue):

Hi Brenda that looks like a fun game. She really listens to you :)

Donald good point I don't really know what it does to the spine, i'll ask the chiropractor when he comes back in a few months. We were taught to gently pull it out for a stretching and relaxing exercise. My guys seem to actually like it. Their tails are clamped before hand and after they carry it out.
