I'm going to go to a local horse expo, and I was looking at the clinicians that are coming. I was surprised when I saw a liberty trainer would be going! :ieks: Most of the time, they have more traditional clinicians, so I was very happy to see that he would be giving demos and presentations. He would be doing several presentations that I want to attend. I've looked at his methods, and I really like them. I was wondering if any of you have heard of him? He is kind of local, so you probably haven't. Here's his website:

What do you think of him?

It actually turns out there are 3 liberty trainers! One of them sort of uses it as a means to an end (he's a trick trainer but uses liberty to improve relationships with his horse. He trains horses for a lot of movie roles and the like.), one is mainly into working with 'problem' horses, and the third is, yes, Michael Gonzalez (who was really good with his horse). I can't help but think how just a few years ago something like this would have been absolutely unheard of! Anyway, between the 3 of them I have some ideas to work on that I can't wait to get started. :yeah:
