Hi everyone,

I don't know where to place this topic, so I hope I've made the right decision.

Since one month I'm helping (like a sort of internship) at the dutch foundation "Stichting Paarden met Plezier" in Gölenkamp Germany http://www.stichtingpaardenmetplezier.com To give an idea of their way of working; they are working on a way very close to hempfling. Hempfling for example choose one of the founders out of thousands of entries to fallow his clinics as a reward for the good things he saw in the movie they made training a horse
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rl9sVUvj--8 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFGPIjNj31c

The foundation helps and trains horses with emotional or physical problems to become confident, happy and powerfull again. The core business (besides the lessons and other trainings) actually is that they train/support horses who are donated by people (mostly it's their last hope) that are not able to keep the horses for some reason. Mostly this are horses that allready gone a long way but still are in a bad condition (physicly or emtionally) and are so difficult to handle that the owner can't keep the horse anymore. The foundation trains them and brings back the happiness. Once the horse is in balance again, they're looking for a new home for them. Some horses go away for free, some for a symbolic price (just to cover the training costs), depending on the condition of the horse. This new home has to confrom on a few conditions (like keeping the horse on a natural way, no iron, bitless etc).

So, to make a long story short. They're doing a really nice job overhere! and every now and then they have new horses looking for a good home.
On this moment there are two special horses looking for a new home:
1. Kaioni: a pony of 1.32 http://www.stichtingpaardenmetplezier.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14. This pony has a lot of temprament and loves trics and playing. Hé's is completely healthy, the only 'problem' is that he's not suitable for young children to ride. That's why they're looking for a owner who loves to do some natural dressage, tricks, going for walks in nature etc. Kaioni goes for a price in consultation.

2. Alano: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVJZcuqpurM Alano is a real PRE horse with papers and he's 10 years old (according to his papers but they think a bit older). He's a very gentle horse. They've done the best they could to train him but he is on his maximum now and his back will probably not become stronger then it is now. It means he needs a owner who love to do some groundwork and go fro wlks with him. Riding him in nature some now and then, for short times will be fine. Alano goes to his new home for free.

Besides these horses there are more horses looking for a good home (for example Noah, she's a dressage horse but she will be healthy and allright again to do everything) but maybe you all understand why I've choosen to put thes two horses overhere on the AND forum. You all are the right target group for them

I hope there's someone who loves these horses and wants to give them a new home or maybe you know others who do...

Thank you for reeding! If you have any questions, you can contact me or contact info@stichtingpaardenmetplezier.com

Hi Danielle!

I hope that these two guys find wonderful new homes -- wish I could take them!

Best,
Leigh

Hey Danielle,

Nice to see where you are spending your time nowadays.
I hope you can help to find a new home for them.
Sadly i don't wish to import horses. The trip is too long.

Love,

helene
