Hi Ivy.
It's such a great time when our horses start a dialogue with us about what they want.
In Morgan's case, he wants to be left in a herd to eat grass all day!!!! However this creates a great opportunity to find out from him what motivates and excites him. If he is free to interact and choose there is NO pressure at all.
I also thought my horse was not pressured at all, but once I took away my agenda and left it totally to him, boy did I have to work hard to get his respect.
Nowadays we balance him happily complying with my requests, me with his, or some days just hanging out and being, much like all good relationships should be.
An enclosed space is still a pressure, and I admire those people that can ask their horse at liberty to do anything in an open space that is unfamiliar. The relationship bond is so strong.
Jackson and Sadeem will be great teachers is you allow them to lead.
