Stormy May's Path Of The Horse documentary is now available to buy on Dvd. It looks wonderful, she says she only has 1000 copies for sale however, so I hope to get one quickly, I've been looking forward to it for ages.

I got the DVD. It moved my heart very deeply, but at the same time I was very depressed - I looked accomplishments of great persons with mixture of enviousness and hopelessness - I will never get there with my horses. And then I realized that thinking about it shows how goal oriented I am. :wall: I am absolutely hopeless .

do not be depressed :-) they do it for work now.
so they can do a lot more practising.
And all the once tehy failet you won't see :-)
no worries...have a nice time with your horses.
Don't thing about others and how good or bad they are.
Keep your own dreams...and they will come true..just be patients

I got my dvd today and watched it immediately.

I'm not envious of what others have achieved with their horses, but I'm envious of their clarity and peace and all the wonderful things they have learned from horses. It doesn't make me sad though...rather, it lifts me up and gives me courage and hope that one day I'll understand it as well.

It's a beautifully done film. One segment with Klaus Hempfling brought me to tears. It was such a beautiful moment.

I won't discuss anything specific because I don't want to take anything away from what any one else may experience in seeing it for the first time.

But I CAN say that I love it.

Oh Karen, your so sweet, unlike me, who has opened my big mouth about a couple of things that blew me away, and have ruined it for others to see for the first time.

And oh Klauss, isn't he so magical, a healer of horses and humans, I'm going to see him in October  I'll let you know how it goes :D

I too didn't feel any sort of envy, rather a complete delight, in the same way as I do here with people, this wonderful way of being with horses, I feel a delight for anyone who finds this path, The Path Of The Horse, it's a sign of a changing world, and hey, thats got to be worth celebrating.

If someone is interested to watch it on youtube, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQUMAJCh1fA

I found it a bit hard to watch, but that's just the old story that I do not get much out of big words and always wonder why people find it helpful to make such a fuss instead of just going to their horses acting normally, like you would interact with any other dear person as well. But that's just me, so don't bother about what I say and simply enjoy watching! :)
