The Art of Natural Dressage

I have been doing some searching about those horseballs (like Helen got). And I think it is fun for a horse. I thought about bying one for my horse but they are kind of expensive. The reason I would buy the ball is to stimulate her playdrive but on the other hand it is very good possible that whan I buy the ball she won't look at it.
How is you guys experience with such a ball?

a month ago you could buy a gymnastics ball in the Lidl for about 7 euro's. I bought one of those to see if he would play with it. And well, he loves his ball.
Hellen has another ball, she made it herself, I know she wrote something about it somewhere, maybe you can ask her again how she made it. Because even an expensive horse ball is easily broken, if my ball dies I will try to make one like Hellen I think, or buy another cheap one, but never an expensive one for horses. I know someone who bought a Parelli ball and in a few weeks it was destroyed, the horse bit it and it went flat.

Oh what a pity that I missed that.

Mabye I'll keep looking for it in some stores, cause like you said, it can easily be a ball for humans and it is much less expensive.

Do you think it is nicer for the horse to have such a ball with a ring on it? To grab it or something? But then it won't roll as good. (I don't know if it needs to roll .
Do your horses play with them?

Yes my horses play with them and like to pick them up and Ino likes to throw it to my head and look like a little devil
They like the small blue one and the large red one.

I only have the small blue ones now in the shop...
The red ones are all out.

those are realy nice for horses..
and won't go "plop" that easy as the ball from the Lidl
i have buy several balls for less, but they all "plop" with every game..
these are still working...and the dog likes it too

Ow, it would be so hilarious to have a 1 meter high ball with our 1 meter high ponies!

I have seen these and I thought they were rather expensive, espacially if my horse won't be interested in it.
I think of buying one at Josepha's stand next week at an event.

I gave the 2 jack russels my lidl ball today they were having so much fun!!! they were running around with it, not seeing where they were going both at one side of the ball

That's a good point... Blacky will toss with it for about fifteen minutes, Sjors will run away from it for about fifteen minutes, but then (with the X-ty balls they've had) they usually ignore it untill it dies.

Yes, I am kind of worried about that, but still I want to stimulate her playdrive.
I'll defenitely will let you know when I have one and then ask for tips to get her interested so be ready with al kind of ideas...

My horse loves playing with a ball. I bought one in the Decathlon (11 EURO) and put it in a haynet so he can pick it up more easily.

Personally I wouldn't give my horse all day access to the ball, because then it is not fun anymore. He'll get bored.

I have a ball 50cm, 90cm and a jolly ball (the little ball with a handle on)

I want such a big football for Timber but first I have to save my money for my vacation to Birmingham and for a new cameralens

I do however want to buy the Equi-Spiritâ„¢ Catch Ball sooner.....I want to pick up the pick up stuff soon with Timber
