Most important brands are represented in the UK - Trekker, Barefoot, Startrekk (not sure about that one) Sensation, Freeform and a couple of copies of course ;)
Like here, no one realizes that treed saddles became 'fashionable' in the Middle-ages because the knights fell off their horses during fights. The 2 - 3thousand years before they had either no saddle or a simple cushion (like a Torsion saddle) and did not use them for just a ride in the park, but roamed all over Europe and Asia!!!

i know that you can find them but not that easy. We go often to the UK and see most of the time "normal stuff" and seldom other things. Unless you visit a farm were they do NH or something like that.
Same as here, but the UK is much bigger so the distance is much longer. So in bit more difficult then over here to find something you like. ;)

Hi Colinde

I uploaded 2 pictures for you of what was the first way to attach a pommel (and they do it the same way right now, which I find very unpleasant, because you need to fumble with tiny Chicago screws  )
Anyway - if you do not have a small Kevlar flap as shown in these pictures, you have to bring the saddle to a shoe/saddle maker to have the front 3 rivets removed, place such a little flap on the saddle and than you have an attachment for the pommel

Thank you SO much for this info! :f:
My boyfriend says he has tools to remove the rivets (he's a mechanic and leather worker himself) so I think we're going to remove them ourselves. Now where would I get a flap like this....? Would a leather one work just as well?

I suppose leather will work just as well - it's thicker, but if it fits, it fits ;)
