We do not use much tack or equipment. What we do use are; A cordeo, bitless bridle, halter and/or a chain-free (Vienna) caveson. We also use a lunge, double lunge and a lunge- or dressage whip (never to punish, but always to point out!) All other use of tack like bits, spurs, draw reins and side reins etc, we believe to be harmful for the horse's body and soul. And anyway, if one has time, love and understanding all these things are not needed anyway! The lesser the tack, the greater the fun! |
