so, today i've been hunting round for things i could use as a cordeo, and found an old stirrup leather that my mum used for her first pony (back in the 70's) and it seems ideal, it looks as if it will fit comfortably around the base of Mckenzie's neck. Because it is old the leather is really soft and nice to hold, do you all think this would work?

good, now just have to explain to my mother why i want to use Punch's old stirrup leather in my groundwork training today :funny:
