the mules:
BoJangles
6 y/o 17hh Percheron Mule
We haven't even owned him a year yet. My mom's began Parelli with him. He's a handful. His only vice - so far - is crowding. Other than that he's big baby. I've ridden gaited horses, but he's the smothest mover I've been on.
Pearl
4 y/o 14(ish)hh Tennessee Walking Horse/Spotted Saddle Horse Mule
We've owned her for almost a year - our first mule and my mother's dream. Pearl and Rosemary are a pair, a silly pair, and there are so many comical moments that happen between the two (and Bo).
the donkey:
Rosemary
6 y/o 8hh miniature donkey
We bought her supposedly pregnant, but it's been almost fourteen months since then and we've got a roan miniature horse stud lined up. We'll have a mini hinney!
the horses:
no picture right now, sorry.
Hawk
17 y/o 15.2hh QH. He's sorrel with a star.
He's our alpha. We've owned him for 7ish years. He's awesome, perfect for my boyfriend who's just getting into riding. He's a total jerk in the herd, but he's really just a big sissy. He's afraid of fireworks and being alone. He's a level 2 Parelli, like Poni.
Poni
Our 14 y/o 15(ish)hh Appaloosa
A lot of people have said he could pass as a POA, and that's probably why we call him Poni now. He's a little brat, but only because he's so smart. The pic is of us at horse camp this past summer. Mojo, in the picture below, is in his bowing process. Poni is a nice bareback ride, but horse camp isn't so keen on that. Hehe.
Mojo
My 20 y/o Appaloosa I recently outgrew and sold. He's now living with the perfect family and is working as a theraputic riding horse for a little girl of ten - the same age I was when I got him.
Mojo was my begining, my everything. I miss him, but I cherish everything I've learned from him.[/b]
Shyla
6 y/o mix mare, our only mare, and my first
She's my new baby, now that Mojo's gone, and I am so ready to begin AND with her. There are going to be a lot of posts by us, mainly questions, and probably a lot of pictures.
