In your pasture, do you have willows making those fuzzy little buds? Are the flowers in your garden beginning to bloom? Green grass growing on the sunny side of the barn where there was only snow before? Or like Els, have you come across some flowers that in your area are always harbingers of spring? Even horses shedding their winter coats can be a sign of spring. Or a bird that comes back in the spring.

It's still cold here. Still so much snow. Spring is probably a month away at best. So if you have any pictures of spring coming to your horse pasture or your home, please share them and warm me up please!

Spring energy in the first sunny days after a long period of rain. Even the grass is getting more green

I loved those photos! I so wish to see green grass here again!

We have a lot of poplar trees here, and in the spring, when the sap begins to flow again, the trunks of the trees change from a dead gray to a hint of green-gray, and they look alive again, even before they start to bud out.

Spring photos from our pasture... today it was T-shirt weather and we were even taking a shower with the water hose!! :D

Those pictures are taken while sitting on an appletree in the wonderful late afternoon light.
