You have a really nice riding area! And the swimming looks like great fun! Nice to see also your horse copying canter and trot!

Nice videos! In the first one, your friend's horse seems to have an attitude like Tamarack does...it can be a little unnerving when a horse canters up behind you like that! She is very confident!

We play soccer too!!!

I am so envious that you have a place to swim with the horses...beautiful!

I so enjoyed all photos and movies :)

Of course you can do bodywork while riding without a bit, I do it too :) just a note.

I found some eally great energie in my horse the last coupple of days.
I tried the round penn again and he did all kinds of crazy jumps, collected trot steps and collected canter steps...just for fun I guess...
And when he came to me in the centre he would blow his air out like a stallion that is the hunk of the herd :D

That resulted in a great picture

And after that this

Were going stong again YAY!!!
And could anyone tell me something about his technique to rear?? Should it be diffrent of is this how it should be??

I think he is giving you a wonderful start to levade, and I would just play with it and see where he wants to take it? If you try and change it too soon, he might not like doing it anymore?

I agree with Karen: it's great that he's beginning to offer this! First I would also just let him experiment with it and reward his attempts. During this experiencing he might not offer perfect rears, but he will strengthen himself with every rear-attempt he does. So he will find more balance and strength during this experimenting, and then after a while you can subtly begin to shape his rear. You can begin to reward more for higher rears - or lower if you want to go for a levade, or forwards walking rear or terre-a-terre like forwards jumps.
But for now I would just let him experiment - and maybe find a bit safer position to ask the rear from. 8)
