Earlier this year we started a Bitless Horse group to amongst other things actively promote bitlessness, to support bitless bridle users, to press for rule changes and show the traditional bitted world that bitless is best.

We have many members around the world but in the UK in October we held our first get together.

Here are a few of the photos. By this point in the day most people had abandoned the bitless bridles altogether and were just in cordeos.

Wow, looking great! :D

I also love the fact that you're riding in 'official dressage outfits', not because I walk in that all day too, ;) but because it will reach a lot of people who now possibly still think that riding bitless/bridle-less is just for people who only ride in the woods and don't do any dressage.

And a wonderful idea to start an organisation. Do you have a website?

Thanks Miriam,

Yes we have a website www.bitlesshorse.co.uk but at the moment it is just a front page for the chat group part of the organisation.

I am currently constructing the official website, and hopefully I will have it completed in the next month or so. :D

We are also creating a display team to go round some of the more traditional events in the UK and show what can be done.
