That immediately became my wife Kate's desktop. No, not screen saver, but her constant desktop.

I think I've lost my horses. Hehehe.

Kate, more each day, expresses interest in learning more about horse handling. I think I'll send her to the AND resource subforum folders.

Just recently I was informed, while forking out the spent bedding in Altea and Bonnie's stall, that Altea needed more attention and grooming now that Bonnie had arrived. In other words, I was being told I'm neglecting Altea. The "groom," has his orders. More attention for Altea.

Today she asked me, sweetly, how often I pick out Altea's feet. There's a trend starting here. I've seen it before.

I guess there's a new barn boss to contend with. Right back were I started in the horse business. Me cleaning stalls and grooming horses. :D

I can barely remember now. Was it five years, or was it six? I was retiring and had dreams of long quiet days in my garden, playing my guitar, catching up on the Great Books, and such.

Seems I'm going to be rather busy.

Donald

This pictures are really so beautiful!! Donald - how lucky you are to havet such sweet horses! And to have such beautiful pictures of them!!! I also loved the one where she is jumping from the forest the most. No wonder Kate is starting to interest more of horses now - with such a sweet baby... :)

And yes - I know the feeling of cleaning feeding - all those things that you have done for years... :) Suddenly your life is just full of them again... :funny: :funny: But it is alos so full of lovely horses

Ack, I was skimming this thread too quickly, and completely missed that this is Bonnie! My mistake!

She is absolutely stunning... Annaliese, your photos are fantastic. Keep them coming, they show such clarity and life.

We could call her Sleipneir... that was Odin's 8 legged steed.

Next - a wonderful vault, but a little unstable on the landing. Overall, a 9.5!

Huh, I have always seen (or is it simply thought of?) Sleipnir as white? And maybe... he looked... different... in his... youth??? Keep digging, Annaliese ;)
Must go research.Oh, another excuse not to do real work. Great ;)

We have been for several years ago at the place were Sleipnir put one feet on the earth. A huge prefect horseprint when you see it from above.
Unfortunately i dont have the pic digital.
A beautyfull place, and when you are walking there (or sleeping) and read the story of Sleipnir you can even feel him.
