Congratulations on becoming a Centered Riding Instructor! Owen is absolutely gorgeous, I just love his color and Gina is a beauty. My boy (Shepherd mix) says hi!

David Bowles from La Strada Saddles came over to visit us all the way from the UK. Thank you David!

Of course I wanted to try out a La Strada saddle. :)

As most of you know, I myself almost have never any time to ride or train my horses nor do I mind.

So it was again 3 or 4 weeks ago, the last ride on my Owen.
I took him on the cordeo and lunge a few minutes first and then I had a ride. Ralph took the oppertunity to make some pics...

I thought I'd share :)

Very well, I am off then to finish my diner...

That was it, not much but at least something from me for your guys to see :)

ps: I loved the saddle, even Owen did!

Oh, what a beautiful, beautiful boy!

(And he looks extra handsome in his cordeo...)

:-)

Best,
Leigh

Normally I can not ride in a normal tree saddle as I can not feel the horse's back so I have no information.

With this saddle it was completely different, I even forgot while riding that I was not on my own barefoot london!
I think it is a marvellous saddle and I think that if trees will stay, this is the future next to treeless saddles.

Warm regards,

Josepha
And ps: do Owen's gaits not look wonderful?

Great pictures.
I think Owen looks pretty comfortable and relaxed. Though his gaits are powerful and he is willingly working with you

Josepha, the first picture of you riding (above) is a wonderful example of a horse, neither collected nor inverted, but moving fantastically in good balance and carrying himself very well. Wow...he is so beautiful...

But until we move into collected work under saddle, this is also how Tam will carry me. I am so proud of him...that he can balance himself well and carry his back in a safe way even if he is not collected. Very cool!

Hi all!

Last Sunday Ralph and I organised a Doma Vaquera and Garrocha clinic at Equihof which was given by Cloor (also on this forum by the way however not very active).

She, her friend Natasja and her stunning macho stallion Piropo also honoured us with a nights stay, it was really fun!

Sunday we had the clinic... we were again ordered for one of the partipants was no one less but Eddie druppel, a well known Belgian horse trainer!

And a vet called Cindy :)
Both with beautiful spanish horses.

So O-master and I had to give our best, You all know that O has been fighting for his health over 2 years now, but we are finally getting there and we started riding this weekend and we had soooo much fun!

After the clinic we had Spanish music, vegetarian tapas and paella and we had Spanish sun blessing us :)
auditors came in Spanish outfits, it was mucho grande!

Here are some pictured made by Ralph of course!
