Hi everyone,
My name is ellie, and my horse is Higgins and we live in Australia
For a while now i have been feeling unmotivated when it comes to riding my horse, which i really hate! I think its because sometimes i can tell my horse isnt enjoying being ridden, and i have also become more aware of the bit in his mouth and the fact that it might be hurting him! I have felt really stuck in a rut, not knowing how to change things.
Then i was lucky enough to stumble across this amazing forum, and i am so so so excited
I've been trying to start liberty for a couple of months now with no success. Higgins would always choose to eat rather then be with me, but now looking through the AND forum, i now know i need to make myself interesting to him, and i know how to do it
So thanks to all you wonderful people here for sharing your knowledge and allowing us to start on our new path! I can honestly not thank you all enough for helping us
We did our first session today and Higgins absolutely loved it. So i cannot wait to see what the future brings
