Hello all,

Thank you for adding me and I look forwards to learning from you all. I have just started my journey under the instruction of the fabulous Julie Alday of Alday Farm. I am a new blank slate right now and I cannot wait to fill it up with all the knowledge contained here. I am 21 and my husband and I just celebrated our first wedding anniversary this past December and the birth of our son 10/10/12. So if I am slow responding to any post of get behind with a journal entry please forgive me.

I have two horses of my own and am hoping to soon have a third. My main girl is my 28yr appaloosa mare who is as new to this philosophy as I am. I am starting my lovely Arab gelding this summer. He is a rescue with some severe fears, but is the smartest horse I have ever worked with. And I am hoping to adopt a wonderful warmblood that I am working on restarting later this summer.

Hi Aleisha, welcome! :)

Being a blank slate sounds great, because in that way you have a fresh start and don't have to unlearn some of the things other more experienced horse people have to struggle with. I so much prefer working with people who are new to horses, and so do my horses. ;)

Looking forward to reading about your interaction with your Appaloosa girl and your Arab boy! :f:

Best wishes,
Romy
