Hello All,

It's been a while so I decided to write a new introduction.

My name is Michele, but most just call me Gem. I live in New York. I ride now at the last remaining riding stable in Queens. I am lucky enough to have a wonderful horse to work with.

His name is Dillon. He is an 18 Year old Quarter Horse. His mom lets me do whatever I want with him as long as I don't hurt him or myself

I have been riding him since November of 2011. He has come a long way since. The wonderful thing is his owner and I ride very much a like and when I try something new, she is very wiling to learn to do it too and try it and keep working with it. :applause: It's so hard to find owners who are like that, especially around here.

Here is a picture of my boy

This was taken about 2 months ago. We are starting to add in some bit less riding. Today we went bareback :) He also goes both English and Western. He just an all around great horse!

Welcome back! :)

Dillon looks very cute, what a beautiful color! And so great that you can work with him in the way you want and the owner also supports it. Looking forward to reading more about your adventures with him. :f:

Best wishes,
Romy

Hey Gem, Welcome back...it's good to see a familiar face :funny: :D
Looking forward to your tales of Dillon. Love to see some pics of the stables and surrounds......just a nosey person who loves to see other parts of the world from the comfort of my chair!!!
Dillon looks like a very laid back "been there, done that" kind of chap. :D
What are you doing these days?

Welcome! :f:

Wow - Queens! Isn't that very, very urban? :green: How is riding in Queens like? I never thought that there's still horses in New York... More pictures would indeed be great!

Hi everyone!

Thank you all for the warm welcome back

I have lots of photos I have to upload from the park that I ride in and I'll be sure to take some of the stable soon so you all can get an idea of what it looks like. :D
