Hi Emeline, welcome! :)

Lazzy is gorgeous, she looks like a real power package! And don´t worry about your English, it´s completely understandable.

Hope you will enjoy your time at AND!

Warm Regards,
Romy

I practise dressage but not at liberty. I don't know if you can see video :

Hi, and welcome,

A literal translation is probably French Riding Horse, -- more accurately and literally a French Saddle, a kind of shorthand way of referring to a riding horse, but my best guess is a French Warmblood or sport horse based on what Josepha, who would be more familiar with European horse breeds than I, had to say about her.

And welcome. What a gorgeous big girl she is too with such great movement. I hope we get to see more of her pictures.

And of you too, of course.

Beautiful pictures, you are so very nice together.
In the UK we do call your horse Selle Francais x Ardennes

I am amazed by the good English from all members, I have no other language, and am usually gramatically incorrect.
If I try to read German or French pages of Ebay I use the free website translator:

I think we are becoming superficially multilingual just through reading each other and helping with understanding. The language of the horse seems to be richest in German, French, and other European languages. Myself, I'm more conversant in equine references in Spanish and Italian, but love to explore the German especially. I was much taken with a conversation here about the "neck back band," and believe the German to be more expressive of what is taking place for the horse. Just exploring the translations helps enrich my understanding.

I do like babelfish but use other's as well when I'm trying to sort out meanings about horses.

I'm considering teaching Bonnie Spanish. :funny:
