Hi Kaaren,
Ooohhh... cheap phone calls!~ Cool! This forum has a Private Message function so anyone wanting to discuss "business" with you can just send you a PM too.. I agree with not cluttering up the forum with "sales" stuff.. and we do try to keep topics in their right place so it doesn' get too confusing.
I guess it's a fine line between "promoting" and "providing info" and the moderators will have their own ideas.. But I for one would love to see you sharing info from your wide experience of saddle fit, design and choices in the appropriate place. There is a subsection for What Tack - which already has some threads you might want to add to, or start your own. If people have general q's about treeless saddles etc, they'll put them there.
From my past interactions with you I have great faith that you are impartial and balanced, wanting the best deal for horses and riders, over and above the best deal for yourself.
THere is also a section "Horsecare and Health". Would be good to save your Jin Shin Jyutsu info in a thread of it's own there so it doesn't get lost.
Wellllll.... my birthday is coming up in December and my husband has been promising me a saddle for a few years now.. I just keep changing my mind about what I want.. I'm scared to find out, like you, that we spend a lot of money, and in the end I prefer my old (luxurious) bareback pad. Talk to you later.
I do hope that while you're here we'll all be able to balance up the scales a little and give back to you some ideas and inspiration that help to enrich your life with your horses.. Seems like you've been working so hard giving OUT for so long..
Cheers,
Sue
