Bronco is so cute, Brenda! (And what a huge rock he is sitting on!
I'll bet he has a blast climbing up on it. Our Aussie loves scaling anything and everything... she can get up a vertical stack of hay bales three bales high by climbing/jumping/running up it like a ladder!)
Is Bronco the BC that features in some of your agility pics you've posted?
Oh yes, and big round bales are really fun to play on!!
Yes, Bronco is the one in the weave pole shot. Unfortunately, he has been nicknamed 'Lucky' since he has survived a number of accidents! He has two fused vertebrae after cracking his back when he fell thru a bridge as a pup, and then 2 years ago he severed his achilles tendon, but two surgeries later, it will never be intact. If you look at the first photo of him playing with a stick, you can see his right hind hock is on the ground, so no 'bungee' to support his leg? So he was trained in agility but mostly was a demo dog for my classes and seminars cuz I didn't want the stress of jumping. He did excel at sheepdog work tho, and competed for many years.
But he doesn't seem to care about his disabilities, still runs like the wind, and scaled up on that rock using a smaller one, and just never quits!!!
We always say around here, that whenever you are having a bad day, just hand out with Bronco and it is sure to brighten,he just has an amazing outlook!!
