Could it be this beautiful lady?

Here she is just 3 and a half months old. Still a baby unicorn.
Image

Then here a bit older teaching Donald how to properly dress her in her new halter-halter.
Image

He's a bit clumsy and slow, but then he's a devoted servant. I must have patience with him.
Image

I finally succeeded in teaching Donald to take my mother to the pedestal so that I can eat my dinner more comfortably. You see, I am getting so big it's difficult to bend down and reach under. Good human. Nice human. Have a treat for yourself human.
Image

Here I am protecting my mother Altea and my human, Donald, as we go into the deep dark woods bear and lion hunting.
Image

And today, just when we needed it, wouldn't you know the camera went on the fritz. Oh well, trust me, at 12 months, I am even more beautiful, brave, and strong as a yearly filly, as I was at 8 months - if such a thing is possible.

It's not difficult to see where I come by my beauty, strength, and regal bearing.
Image
OPPS! WRONG PICTURE! I've no idea who that is above.

Here she is, my mother.
Image
OPPS! STILL THE WRONG PICTURE! Really, I've never seen her before.

Here's the picture I meant. My mother, Altea.
Image

I am one year old today, and Donald and my mother are taking me up the mountain to hunt bears and lions again to celebrate. Probably won't see any. They run away when they hear me coming.
Image

Image

When you sing happy birthday to me you may if you wish, not use my full name, Bonalaria, as that can be hard to say in a song. Just sing happy birthday Bonnie.

Though I do admit I find human voices just a little hard to take sometimes.

Bonnie's narrative is brilliant and Annaliese's photographs are nothing short of exquisite.

I tremble when I think of that. How will she, one of the early ones in the revolution, manage the humans that come into her life that do not know what they are seeing?

I know that when she is grown she will be big, and these Spanish horse's, at least the Andalusian and Lusitano ones', have such big noses. What will someone thing when she sweetly presents her nose to be kissed, I wonder.

What will happen if someone hits her?

If they cannot hear her when she talks to them as clearly as she does now to us?

We are the parents of these new era horse companions. What are our responsibilities then?

Can we teach others about this new era of the horse?

Donald

Waw Donald, she is truly gorgeous and has grown so fast.
A little bit sad he, that they grow so fast.
She is one fine Lady, you can be really proud of her!
Congrats to Bonnie
